摘要：

城市是多种制度的密集集合，城市规划史是城市制度建构的历史，研究规划就是在研究制度。历史制度主义是研究规划史的良好工具。当今中国的规划制度正处于巨大的变革期，历史制度主义的引入具有非常重要的理论价值和现实意义。本专辑旨在通过对这一国际规划学前沿方法的全面解读，为中国空间规划研究提供新的理论工具。

Abstract：

Urban space is densely institutionalized, and urban planning history is the history of construction of urban institutions, then studying planning is effectively studying institutions. Historical institutionalist approaches offer a robust theoretical framework and a valuable set of conceptual and analytic tools for planning history study. Introducing Historical institutionalist into China will promote the theoretical innovation in spatial planning study, especially in the period of nowadays huge institutional change.
